David Colclough

David joined Elysian in 2015 and is based in Manchester. He previously helped establish the Business Growth Fund, where he made mid-market investments across the North of England from 2012. In 1999, he joined UK private equity firm 3i Group, where he spent 13 years, culminating in leading the Manchester office. During this time he completed investments from small management buy-ins to larger take-privates and portfolio acquisitions. David is a chartered accountant and worked for three years in the corporate finance team of PwC, advising on management buyouts, buy and builds and trade sales. He holds a degree in accounting and finance from Liverpool John Moores University.
