Steve Martin

Steve joined Elysian in 2008 and is responsible for our finance and compliance functions, as well as investor reporting. He also works closely with our chief executive on investor relations and fundraising. Before joining Elysian, he spent five years as head of international finance for global securities and investment banking group Jefferies from 2003. There, he oversaw an expansion programme across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He previously worked at Morgan Grenfell between 1994 and 1999 in various financial control roles within the bank’s private equity and investment banking divisions, before joining investment bank WestLB Panmure as financial controller in London. He started his career in 1990 at PKF, a global network of accountancy firms, where he qualified as a chartered accountant. Steve holds a master’s from the University of Cambridge.
